D & V Supplies was started in 1992 by Douglas & Vicky Bruce. With a combined 40 years experience within the pet trade
at Manufacturer and Wholesale level we brought to the business a wealth of experience.
The knowledge as to what the retail trade required - coupled with a friendly, personal and efficient service - we quickly received the support of the Scottish Retail Pet Trade. This enabled us to expand
quicker than predicted and we soon outgrew our rented premises in Perth and were able to purchase a modern 17,500 sq.ft
warehouse in Dundee.
Specialising in accessories this gave us the potential to vastly increase the product range and now
we stock some 8000 lines in Dundee from over 100 manufacurers / importers.
With a fleet of 5 delivery vehicles ranging from 3.5 to 6.5 ton. we deliver to most of Scotland either once or twice a week!
In 2003 we became national on a range of accessories offering a next day service via courier to the whole of the UK mainland.
We are able to source many products on special order for our customers, a service which cannot be accomplished by our competitors.
One of the highlights of the year is our Trade Show in October each year where over 40 Manufacturers come to Dundee and have established our venue as being the Scottish Pet Trade Annual Show. |
